 How does pet sitting work?
When you will be unavailable for your pet's care, whether you are working
long hours or are taking a vacation, we will come into your home, feed and water
your pets, play with them and give ample love and attention, water your
plants and collect mail and newspapers and make sure your home is secure when
we leave. We have many animals of our own and we understand how important your pets are to you. They would be given the same love and attention that we give to our own pets!
It's not always possible, depending on the number of pets you have and the kind of pets you have, to take them to a boarding kennel. That's where we come in! Leave them at home and feel secure in knowing that we'll be visiting them, feeding them and loving on them, just like you would if you were there!
You know what? We have pet chickens (okay, more chickens than an ordinary person would consider "pets", but that's OUR problem! (HA!) We also have pet turkeys and pet ducks, pet goats and, of course, our beloved cats and dogs! We've also had many tropical fish, exotic birds and reptiles through the years! We have a love for all animals and your pet(s) care couldn't be in better hands than the hands of Ozark Pet Sitters!
How do we start? When
you contact us, we will set up an initial consult in your home to meet your
pets and become familiar with your pet's routine. I will explain what we
offer and you will fill out some forms for me. These forms will include our
Service Agreement and Veterinary Release Form. You will give me your key and
it will be coded and kept in a lock box. Your name and address will NOT be on this key.
By having your key on file, we have immediate access to your house in case of
an emergency. If we need to pick up the key for each pet sitting period,
there is an additional $6.00 fee for the additional time involved. This
initial consultation is FREE!
What about payments?
We accept cash, Paypal and personal checks. Payment
is made at the first visit, prior to the start of service. All services are
prepaid. Clients who use my service on a regular basis may make other
arrangements for payment.

Daily
Visit - This is usually 20-30 minutes
and includes feeding, watering, potty time and play time. Also includes
cleaning up normal pet messes and lots of TLC!
We can offer discounts for multiple visits per day if you are inside the city limits!

Motel/B&B/RV
Sitting - Visit with pet, feed and
walk.
Pet
owners are responsible for room and any hotel/motel room damage, medical
expenses, pet food and supplies. Please try to schedule this the day
before. (No late night or any overnight visits for any reason)

 Taxi
Service - We can transport your pets to
the veterinarian or the groomer. If you would like me to remain with your
pet, there is a charge of $16.00 per 30 minutes spent on location.

 Barnyard Visits
- I know from experience it can take at least an hour to feed and water a
yard full of critters, meaning chickens, pet turkeys, ducks, goats, etc. I
will base this price on one hour and go from there, either more or less,
depending on situation. We don't handle large animals.

MILEAGE
- We must charge MILEAGE of 40 cents a mile (round trip) if your location
is over 10 miles from our home base, especially when the cost of gas is on
the upward swing! Mileage
